Blow out

During a punching session, I tore about a 12" gash in my heavy bag. (Not sure how, I don't think I can punch a hole in a heavy bag) I can however sew!

Spork

I didn't think it was possible, but they improved the spork.  I got this in an instant microwave rice thing; two parts that snap together so they can be more compact.

Invention Fair

This is the project me and my 13 yr old worked on this weekend for his invention fair. Tried to explain to him the concept of center of gravity, but just went with "best balanced".

13 yr old strikes again

Just as I get started on the last damage, I get another "project".

High ceiling

Now that I have a room with a high ceiling, I can break out the juggling stuff a will. Next I need to find a way to unicycle in the house.

Call

Had a conference call with Taiwan this evening at 8:30, what you see above is me going to bed after the call.  Work tomorrow...not so much.

Salt

Cut

I take off work between christmas and new years every year and it gives me a chance to do things I normally wouldn't do. This year I got a little crazy with the razor.

Snow

Nothing an over night snow storm to make the drive in fun.

Responsibilty

Every kid eventually (hopefully) learns responsibilty. The trick is figuring out how to get their responsiblity lightbulb to turn on in their head.

Mad scramble

The last working week is always chaotic. Two weeks off, so lots to do and finish before the end of the year.

More fun

Linens and Things is closing and we stopped by to check out the deals. We picked up these 4 very sturdy wheeled shelving units, shelves that were originally used to displays stuff at the store. Nice!

Music

Sitting at Potbelly having lunch and listening to a great guitar player and singer. I decided to tell him nice job and give him a 5 spot, I guess others felt the same way. I could have sat there all day...

Rip down railings

After the kids ripped out 3 railings from the wall, I had to get creative. Here is my solution, mini oak mounting plates that match our oak doors. I can stand on the railings now!
